Alisha began working in the arts sector in 2003 when she was accepted onto the Independent Theatre Council's (ITC) Fast Track Programme. She went on to work for 5 years at Quicksilver Theatre, a new writing, national touring theatre company. Whilst there she progressed from administrative assistant to administrative producer; and in 2007 produced an adaptation of Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale. In April 2008 she left Quicksilver to take up her current post at the Clore Leadership Programme where she co-ordinates the Short Courses and the Board Development Programme.
Alisha is very interested in issues affecting children and young people. She is a mentor for the London based charity Kids Company and served as a trustee for Theatre Centre for two years. She has an interest in photography and in March 2003 set up a cross-cultural photography project between a community youth group in Haringey and a community in Malawi. She is also an accredited coach.
