Tom Andrews

People United, Chief Executive/Associate Consultant

Tom Andrews is the Founder and Co-Director of People United. He has worked for 22 years developing imaginative ways of bringing people together and promoting understanding.

Previously Tom founded and ran the acclaimed music organisation Music for Change (1997-2004) and worked as strategic manager for the Royal Opera House (2006-2007).  He also wrote the first education pack on Tibet (1995-1997) and promoted artists from around the world as part of the voluntary initiative Under One Sky (1993-1997).  He was part of the first cohort of The Clore Leadership Programme (2004-2005) and is a fellow of the RSA.  He regularly mentors cultural and community leaders and facilitates on the residential courses of The Clore Leadership Programme.

He is a proud dad of two lively children, William (13) and Ella (11).  His hobbies include football (Charlton Athletic FC and Canterbury Youth FC), music and inventing games.
