Nasheed Qamar Faruqi
Nasheed is a Pakistani woman and filmmaker who grew up in London.
She writes and directs stories, both documentary and fiction, about the impact of violence on our lives, and seeks to show the world as she sees it: full of grey areas. Nasheed combines her creative practice with work as a researcher, tutor and journalist. She is currently working on a documentary about brainwashing during the Cold War and a research paper about the vocabulary of diversity.
